Mrityunjoynagar Mukti Tirtha started its journey as a Non-Government, voluntary organization seeking to reach out to the most marginalized and vulnerable communities of the people of South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal of India.
The organization works with people and thereof, considers and values people as the most important assets in this universe. Providing opportunity and people’s participation are the key and guiding words for the overall development and growth of this organization. It tries to help the people so that they can help themselves for their upliftment.

Agriculture Program
The program aimed at improving the yielding capacity and quality of indigenous rice varieties. We are implementing this program in the South 24 Parganas and North 24 Parganas districts of West Bengal.
Save Our Rice
For this campaign, paddy diversity blocks have been established in 2 districts. Farmers are now able to overcome the dependency on the seed market. By establishing a biodiversity block and seed bank it,
Ecological Farming
Ecological traditional agriculture training was provided to the farmers because it improved the fertility of the soil. This training and awareness encouraged the farmers to involve mixed cropping in the farmers’ field,

Global Warming
To educate people about the problem of global warming and its effect on the climate we have organized an awareness program in our village. The awareness program has youth, students, and their parents participating in day-long activities, including a drawing.
Diabetic Awareness
Every year we organize Diabetes Awareness camps on World Diabetes day at Mritynjoynagar. information was given by Diabetes specialists to promote awareness about Diabetes, Books, and pamphlets on Diabetes management were distributed and a free blood sugar camp was also organized.
Women Empowerment
We have organized Women Rights awareness camps on the occasion of International Women’s Day at our village for enlightening women about their rights, responsibilities, and law for them. The camp was organized for the working in formal and informal sectors to commemorate,

Mrityunjoy Nagar Mukti Tirtha
It is my great honor to share with you the Annual Report for the year 2019-2020. This report comes to you with pride, as it is a collection of our most significant accomplishments and our most special stories from the past year.
We are keen to work on scaling our models of rural health, skill development, and employment. We used a ‘Bottoms up’ participatory approach, taking inputs from all levels of staff, members, community representatives, and external stakeholders to map our priorities and the roadmap to scale our work.
We have implemented the following activities this year:

- Social Program
- Library
- Blood Donation Camp
- Thalassemia Patients help
The next few pages will reflect the program activities in detail that we have performed. We have had support from different governments. department, funding agencies, well-wishers, friends, experts, and the whole team members of MMT and every sort of stakeholder without whom we could not proceed for our journey during this year. I express my heartfelt gratitude to all of them and we believe that the community members are with us and we hope that they will be with us to participate more in our programs to work together for achieving a meaningful result.
